You’ve got Q’s, We’ve got A’s

Are Plus Ones or Children Allowed?

Due to limited space, we are only able to accommodate guests that are formally invited on your wedding invitation. We appreciate your understanding!

What’s the weather going to be like?

In October, San Miguel de Allende typically has pleasant weather. Daytime temperatures are warm, averaging around 75-80°F, while evenings can be cooler, dropping to around 50-55°F. It's a good idea to bring layers, as the temperature can vary throughout the day.

What’s there to do in San Miguel?

So glad you asked! We made a personalized guide that highlights some of our favorite spots or activities that have come highly recommended to us - check it out!

What’s the wedding attire?

We’re embracing a semi-formal/cocktail attire. We suggest:

For Men: Suits are recommended. Feel free to skip the tie for a more relaxed look, but a blazer is always a great choice.

For Women: Cocktail dresses, midi or maxi dresses, or elegant jumpsuits. The reception will be in a tent on concrete ground, so heels are fine if that’s what you prefer to wear!

How long should we plan to come?

Most people will be arriving on Wednesday and leaving Sunday. However, it is up to you how long you want to come for! Wedding festivities will start on Friday with a Welcome Dinner for all guests and conclude late Saturday night after the reception ends. If you have any questions about travel or things to do, please don’t hesitate to reach out for recommendations!

How do you get around in San Miguel?

Most places are within walking distance of each other. Walking is our favorite mode of transportation in San Miguel! If you wish to use a taxi, most are considered safe and they only accept pesos or cash. Uber is also a GREAT way to get around town but are limited in San Miguel. If you wish to hire a private driver, please go to our "Travel & Stay" tab or ask your hotel for suggestions.

What shoes should I bring?

For the ladies, you are good to wear heels if you please for the ceremony and reception. However, for walking around San Miguel during the day you should definitely wear comfortable shoes. The streets are all made of cobble stone and there are hills everywhere.
